Bottle & Caps
Our only container, as shown in the page header, is a 16 FL OZ (473 mL) amber PETE (non-BPA) bottle, with a very smooth inside. Breakage problems during shipping are virtually eliminated. Glass and other plastics may cause the silver to plate inside the bottle.
Larger amounts in multiple bottles are sold at discounts. We don't sell jugs because:

they are difficult to dispense from,

transferring to another container can cause contamination and
-
a large amount remaining in the jug may become contaminated by air exposure, especially if there is sulfur present.
If you instead buy 7 of our 16-oz bottles, stored properly, the last 16-oz is safe from contamination until you open the seventh bottle.
Cap and sprayer offerings:
The cap has a PTFE liner which is inert and won't interact with the silver. There is also a shrink tube to indicate whether the bottle has been tampered with since manufacture
An all-plastic non-leaking trigger sprayer top as shown in the page header can be selected. It has no metal surfaces contacting the liquid and 3 settings (spray/off/stream). To avoid possible contamination when moving the spray top from an uncontaminated bottle to a new one, move it directly from the old container to the new one, without contacting anything. If necessary, only rinse the dip tube with this product without contacting anything else before installing on the new bottle. Don't use third-party spray tops which have metal springs contacting the fluid or other lids which may contaminate or diminish the product.
